Newton Storm ARLFC was formed in January 2002 and is now entering its 8th season. This year the club will be fielding an Open Age team and five junior teams, which will give a large number of local girls and boys the chance to play in league matches and tournaments. In addition we are providing free rugby league development work in both our local primary and high schools, offering hundreds of local children the opportunity to sample a team sport and develop a real understanding of the value of physical fitness and teamwork. All our players pay a yearly membership fee and subscriptions to help meet the high costs of running the club. However, without additional financial support we will struggle to provide all the opportunities we would like. It can cost several thousand pounds to run just one team as we provide them with their kit, training equipment and insurance. This is where local business can support us by making a donation or choosing a sponsorship package that start from as little as £5. We would also welcome the offer of a gift or service that can be used in a club raffle. However large or small you can rest assured that we will value any help that you can offer. At the same time you will be playing a vital role in helping maintain or voluntary work in our community.
