He became the first ever player from Newton Storm to earn a scholarship at Saints last year and his consistent performances for Storm coupled with his attitude and skill levels at training with the professional club over the last 12 months have seen him be granted a new 1 year contract.

Brad, a scrum half for the u15's team signed for Storm at u8's age group and has gone from strength to strength over the last 8 years.

u15's Head coach Malc Hankey said "I'm delighted for Brad that his hard work and effort has been rewarded with another scholarship deal. His target now is to play in each of the Scholarship games for Saints at u16's level and earn himself an Academy contract. He certainly is a credit to the club and we wish him all the best in his future career.

The u15's squad are attracting the attention of a number of professional clubs in what is an extremely competitive age group and hopefully Brad will be the first of many to take the next step from club rugby towards a professional career in the game."
